March Meeting

Our March meeting was held on Thursday 12th March in the Oak Room at the Cock Hotel, Stony Stratford.

Sadly, at the start of the meeting we held a minutes silence for Pat Chambers, who sadly passed away last summer, but we were only recently made aware of his passing. All our thoughts are with him and his family.

The meeting differed slightly than originally billed with our original guest speaker, FIFA Assistant Referee Stuart Burt, having to pull-out due to guidance from The FA and the PGMOL regarding the COVID-19 virus that is going around.

However, in his stead we were treated to an impromptu laws of the game quiz hosted by our Vice-Chair, Daniel Todd. The evening was highly engaging with some tough questions looking to #stumptheref.

What was pleasing to see was a good interaction by all in attendance with most getting the questions correct. It looks like we may have the beginnings of a solid foundation for the next County RA quiz!
